This road trip is OVER!

We are extremely blessed! Not only will Jason's job be sending us back home, they are sending us this weekend for a house hunting trip. I cannot wait to see some places of where we might live soon. It's a perfect weekend to go since this Saturday will be Jason's birthday and he can spend it not only with family but his twin sister Jamie. Cannot wait to see you all. And for those I will not see, I am moving home in 3 weeks so we will catch up then.
I am nervous for the plane ride. Wish us luck. We leave tomorrow morning.
My parents were in NC for a small trip and decided to drive up to VA to see Jason and me for the 4th of July weekend. We had a lot of fun and walked a ton!! I am still sore. Starting with the top row of pictures........we got to go to the Washington D.C. temple. It's one of my Church's temples where you get married. This is the temple my parents were sealed in 30 years ago. They had not been back since then and really enjoyed getting to see it again.
The second row of pictures.......we went to a few sites at night which turned out to be really nice because it wasn't too hot and there weren't so many people out. The only problem we did run into was a certain pregnant lady who had to use the bathroom all the time and it was hard to find restrooms at night. :) We didn't get to really see any fireworks on the 4th and that is my favorite part about the 4th. It was rainy and we were all sooo tired. We did catch a few the next night which made up for missing them.
The last row of pictures......We went to Mt. Vernon where George Washington lived. I learned a lot about him and now I want to learn even more. He was such a amazing man. I recommend you checking this place out if you ever make it to VA, just know you will stand in line for almost 2 hours to get inside his home, but it's worth the wait.
My parents left yesterday and my mom will be flying out this Saturday with her ticket she bought a while back. I am sure she is sick of my tiny apartment or will be by the end of her next visit!! I go to the Dr. tomorrow so I will give you all a update then. I believe I am slowly losing my plug. If any of you wanted to know that! If not sorry to gross you out.
Top left, Barrett, Spencer, Jessica, me, Rachel and Alison.
I have known for months now that I would be having family come and visit me the first two weeks of April. However it just didn't sink in that April is next week, until yesterday. The first week we will have Jason's sister Liz and her family come during their spring break to visit D.C. Then the next week we will have Jason's brother Doug and his family come during their spring break.
It took us forever to find our new home, everything is way over priced out there. Thats about all I have to say, because it was not a very fun trip looking for a home.
Today Jason and I are going on a road trip to find our new home!! I am pretty excited. There is one good thing about moving around often... you get to see more of what you want in a home and what you don't want. Every time we get a new place it just gets better. I have been sick since yesterday, I am feeling much better today but still sick I hope after all the sleep I get while Jason is driving makes me feel better for tomorrow!! Wish us luck!
So I know I am posting like 2 post within 2 minutes but I really don't care. I didn't have time to post these when they really happened so I am doing it while I have time. Friday after meeting Braden for the first time Alison and I drove for almost three hours to get back to Covington so we could go to dinner with our cousins, Jill, Beth, Amy and our family friend Missy. Well when we got home I only had a hour to get a shower and be at my cousins house. I was on the bed when I fell asleep. I was sooo tired from staying up with Jessica at the hospital that I was woke up by Alison 30 minutes later to find out that we didn't have any water. So now it was down to 30 minutes to get my dirty self together for my Mexican dinner. Finally I was walking out the door. At dinner Alison and I took turns telling all the funny stories about Jessica and her being doped on drugs. (Which will have to be another post.) After all the hard work I went through to get there I had a blast! I miss my cousins and Missy since I don't get to see them very often.

Since Alison came to Ga also we have been able to spend some much needed time together. On Saturday Alison, Teryn and I went to old town conyers to go shopping for a while. You know we had to take some pictures to capture the moments we shared. Of course because Alison and me went shopping I bought more stuff I probably don't even need. For some reason whenever I shop with her I buy stuff I normally would have put down before walking out of the store. I cannot complain I love my new shirt and earrings!!
