You should know...

I am fully aware that if Jason dies before me, I will become this lady. Since I have been a home owner I spy on my neighbors all the time. If I hear a car door shut I look out the window to see what they are up too. I can pretty much tell you all about them, just not their names because I haven't actually spoken to them. That would be plain weird.

How did I not know?

We ran into the grocery store Saturday night for a few items and Joseph lied down and went to sleep. I should have known he was sick and not just being ridiculously cute.

This is a picture from a previous post. Or at least I hope it is because my belly is HUGE! I couldn't get a picture today.
I know you all remember my slight obsession with the bird that used to live on my porch. Well today I looked on the back porch and who do I see? Big Momma and her baby daddy!! They are back for round 2! Bring it!

So I know I just posted for you all. However this just happened today and I had to share for family.

Jason and I were

Sitting at church this Sunday. He pulled at his socks and turned to me to complain. He told me they kept falling and they felt like pantyhose. I almost died!! I leaned over to look at his socks and sure enough they were pantyhose. Jason had accidentally put on my knee highs!!! We both started laughing and tried our best to keep it quiet because they were about to say the closing prayer.
Every Sunday I dress myself. Every Sunday I dress Joseph. NOW every Sunday I will dress my husband!!!

Joseph loves to take baths. He takes one every night and just lives it up. The only time he will cry is when you take him out. Silly boy. I finally put him in the bathrobe his gran and grandad gave him and I almost fell over by his cuteness. I took way to many pictures but only posted a few. :) I cannot wait to dress him up at Halloween.

How could something so SAD be so CUTE?!?!?!

Joseph had a bad day yesterday and on Sunday. He was not feeling good and had a stuffy nose. He didn't get much sleep and neither did I. I was up all night Sunday. Jason had to go on a business trip Monday and I knew I would go crazy all by myself with a baby who only wanted to be held so I went to Babies R Us and bought him a swing.

As you see he enjoys it. I had the hardest time putting this thing together so thanks Aaron and Jill for letting me call you and walking me through it. It really wasn't that hard once you told me what to do. It must be the lack of sleep getting to me!!! We did miss daddy last night but we both slept much better.

P.S.

Joseph now weighs 10lbs 6oz. This kid is growing!

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can......

Out here they have these bike trails that used to be where the train came through and they have converted the tracks to bike trails. So the trails take you all over the place. After learning that, our friend Sam told us that he rides his bike to work every day to save money on gas and to exercise.

Since Jason heard that he has wanted to do the same. Now we knew if he was really going to do this he would have to get a really nice road bike but we didn't want to spend the money on one if he wasn't really going to like doing it. So Jason decided to do a trial run with our walmart clunker. Our friend bikes 20 miles each way and Jason knew that would be too much for him so he set it up where he would bike 8 miles and then hop on the metro line to finish taking him into work. It took him 45 minutes to do the 8 miles yesterday which I thought was good since he had not been doing it and since it was such a bad bike. He called me and told me that before he does it again he has to have a

1.really nice bike. Because everyone was passing him. The bike weighed him down big time.
2. biker shorts with gel in it or a nice gel seat. (it felt like he was sitting on a pole the whole time)

I offered to pick him up from work yesterday so he wouldn't have to bike home but he really wanted to do it both ways. On the way home he got a flat tire and had to fix it which took almost 30 minutes, thank goodness he had his spare pump! He said once he got started he noticed everyone kept looking at him and laughing, he thought they were laughing at his ridiculous walmart bike but soon discovered he had put his helmet on backwards and was great entertainment for everyone going home. When he got home he was so sad to look at. You could tell the heat made it harder coming home than it had been that morning.

Jason loved riding his bike even though he was sore and tired last night. So we will be buying a nice bike and he will be able to get back out there and start passing others who are crazy enough to ride a huge walmart bike on the nice bike trails.

I think this little boy doesn't want to come out at all!!!! My mom comes in town tomorrow and I am hoping that I will go into labor this weekend it would be perfect timing for me. I know this is wishful thinking but a girl has to do what a girl has to do.
Also I don't think I really was losing my plug. Sad news I know. :(

Tweetie bird.

So you know that you really have no life when all you talk about these days is that darn bird that has claimed your back porch. That being said, I love watching this bird!! I saw that she has laid some eggs and saw her fight off some random bird that tried to sit on the porch. When I saw her attack this bird I knew I would not be allowed on my back porch any longer. Jason and I did some research and the bird is a mourning dove. She and her baby daddy will take turns being with the eggs for the next 14 days, then they will hatch and I will get to watch some cute little birds for another 14 days and then they will be old enough to fly away. Then and only then will I go onto my back porch. I really need to go out there so I can spray paint some stuff but I will just have to wait.
Now you all know to expect some more bird pictures in the very near future.

I have had many people ask me where I got my cute background from and I cannot deny you all the cuteness for yourselves. I would feel pretty bad if I didn't give my secret out because A) I came to the site on accident. B) The lady who does it is totally amazing!!! She did new ones just for me. I left her a comment telling her how I loved the backgrounds, however I wished I could use the Baby theme and she wrote me and told me she corrected all of the Baby themes for me!!
So I have had problems with other sites because they lose some of your information, have no fear my fellow bloggers you will lose NOTHING!!!!!

Belly Laughs.

Someone who works with Jason gave him this book for me to read. She told him it was exactly what she needed to hear, because she is preggo also. I picked it up today and started reading and I cannot stop!! I am almost finished reading it. I had to let all my preggo friends and family know they HAVE to read this book. Or if you are thinking about getting pregnant or know someone who is pregnant or you want to hear all the ugly details of pregnancy. She is very blunt and tells you everything the way it goes during pregnancy. I have been laughing so hard and it has even made me cry, but go figure I am pregnant. Here are some of the chapters.

Bottom line: Brace yourself. The only silver lining to the horrific things I went through is that I can relay them here for your reading pleasure. You are going to hear me tell it like it is. Sometimes I'll make you laugh and sometimes I'll scare the crap out of you, but know this.....I think it's in your best interest to know the full range of strange things that might happen to you.

I hope some other pregnant lady will enjoy reading this as much as I have.
