I have been wanting to display Joseph's blessing outfit for a while now. I finally did it. Also inside are his cute little booties.

I have to thank Freecycle.org once again. I got this stroller for FREE!! I have a stroller but I really needed one to put his car seat in, and mine wouldn't hold it. I was told by sooo many people I wouldn't need or like a stroller this huge. I LOVE it. I wish I would have gotten one from the start. You live and learn everyone has their own opinion and that's okay.

whoa mom this is a sweeeeeet ride!!

I bought some plain shirts so I could decorate them on my own. It was WAY harder than I gave it credit to be. I only finished two. Maybe I will do more...maybe I won't. hahaha Don't look too close at my little owl, you will find flaws. The buttons were easy and I like the way it turned out.

Update~

It seems I left some things out. Yes Rachel the car seat fits inside PERFECTLY! Now to my other dear Rachel, If you go to Freecycle.org you can sign up for free to your community and the site works like Craig's List only everything is FREE. They are helping people get rid of there old stuff and helping people like me who would use it. I get great baby stuff from it. You should definitely check into it.

NOW AMY.....If you ever lump me into the sucker, sucker, sucker group again you will pay!!! I love you and now you see it's more like trading than a handout. :)

Step up.

This is something I have been working on for the baby's room. We are going to be having a baseball theme in the room and I wanted to do something special for the little guy. Not that he will be using this right away!

Reading time.

I have been really excited to find out what I was having just so I could get started with decorating the baby room. (All is slowly coming together, I will post more as I get the room together.) I was buying a shelf for toys and such things the other day and I saw this wooden box. I just had to do a craft project. So I painted it red and did the little saying on it. I will store my books in it. Now all I need are some more books to fill it up!!

This is how I spent my week.

I have never really sat down and painted a picture for my very own house. Most often I only seem to have the motivation if I am doing it for someone other that myself. Well not this week!! I finally did a painting just for myself. I wanted it to look as if it were taken in sepia. I also wanted a antique look to it. I think I pulled it off finally. Now I just have to hang it on the wall.

Well i am posting this because Abby has asked to see it forever now and i have never sent it to her. I figure since I enjoy posting these days that I would just put it up here. So here's to you Abby!! For every one else, these are pictures that Jamie my sister in law and I did, coming close to a year ago now. Not really the style I would want, but the little girl we did it for loved it so did her mother! I put up just a few so you could see the mural.

These are for my sweet Lacey Rae who will be coming soon. They will hang over her crib. I hope every time she looks at them she knows I love her. (I sure hope her mama likes them too) We have a little more work to do on them like some ribbon around the edges. I think they will look great once they are hanging on the wall.

Art Work

This is a picture my family has been wanting to see. I could not post it up until my friend received it. This is a picture I drew for my friend Audrey Zellers, it is her first little one. He is sooo cute! As I have told most of you I have been keeping myself busy with doing art, so now you can check it out. Maybe I will post more in the future. Hope you all enjoy.
