Q&A

2. Who were your childhood heroes?

without a doubt Captain Planet!!

It was a environmental show I watched with my sister growing up. I remember being in Barretts car and his friend had taken all the balls from the ball pit at Burger King. They were throwing them in peoples yards and filling up mail boxes and Alison kept yelling "What would Captain Plant say?!?!?!!?"

Maybe this is the reason I use cloth towels and cloth napkins in my house.....

Q&A

I am a sucker for those books with a tons of questions in them. I have bought them several times for grandparents or a parent or two. In hopes they would actually answer them and I would have a better insight into their lives. Well I saw one the other day and bought it. I had plans on giving it away and decided I could answer them myself for my children. One day they might be interested.
300 questions to ask your parents....before it's too late..

So here we go folks.  There are several different sections and I will go section by section. The first is:
What I Learned From My Youth....

1.What is something from your childhood (an event) that has affected you the most?

Okay, I have been sitting here for like 15 minutes. This is my first question and I cannot even think of a answer. I am not sure if I can think of a event that has affected me the most. But maybe I can tell you about several small events that I hold dear to me. When I think back to being a child I think about getting off the school bus and walking to my house to eat some ice cream that I really wasn't supposed to be eating. Then going outside and feeling the warmth of the sun  on me and the wonderful smells of being outside. I then arrived at my cousins to see who wanted to play with me and just playing outside until our parents called us home. Maybe we would ride bikes or play in the small stream we found in the woods behind our houses, or maybe we were seeing who we could get to ask Moo Moo for a cookie. I suppose I love the freedom I was allowed to have as a child. A simple freedom my own children may not enjoy as much as I did because the world is not as care free as it once was.

If you want to join me....then answer the questions as I post them. :) then your children will not have to buy you a book to learn more about you one day!
