Family time

I am feeling this little guy kick like crazy. I am having a hard time with giving him a name. Jason and I have been trying and trying to agree on something. I told him I just might leave it up to my readers on Pink Nothings to name this kid.No other real updates at the time.

The news is in...

We went to our doctor today and they were running behind. I was getting nervous because Jason had to leave by a certain time in order to make it to work for a very important phone call. They finally called us in and we got to see the little one on the screen. Then before the ultrasound tech could say anything I saw that my baby was a boy. It's hard to miss when you know what you are looking for!! Jason and I knew it was going to be a girl. I have even been calling the baby she or her while talking about the baby. Now it's time to switch gears for a baby boy!
We have no idea what to name the little guy. We had our girls name ready and now we will have to put it on hold for a second time.

You should know...
I am fully aware that if Jason dies before me, I will become this lady. Since I have been a home owner I spy on my neighbors all the time. If I hear a car door shut I look out the window to see what they are up too. I can pretty much tell you all about them, just not their names because I haven't actually spoken to them. That would be plain weird.Tuesday, March 16, 2010
Today the weather was just amazing. I often don't realize how good the weather is until my sister in law calls me to come over and play outside with her girls. Today Joseph and I went to the post office. I parked farther away from the post office so we could walk up the side walk to the post office and you would have thought my son had died and gone to heaven. He loved pointing to all the cars and trucks that were driving by. So we took our time and walked around a bit. I now know a cheap and easy play date for him. Walking around the square of a small town. After we were done walking we played in our backyard, which has a TON of broken glass. Small pieces, huge pieces. We really have no idea how to handle the glass issue. We want Joseph to be able to play in the yard more but we don't find it to be very safe. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
Today I really enjoyed being a mother. It's always nice to have days like this where everything goes just right. If only I could remember these days when everything goes wrong.
I am starting to feel better with the whole pregnancy.
I still hate food....

Randomosity
Here is what I have been up to lately. If you read Pink Nothings or we are FB buddies you may have seen these already...............
I caught Joseph in the sink. I had some people on FB think that I put him in the sink. I need to clarify. He did it all on his own. After I got him down I had to put him in time out for trying to do it again.
I love that he will sit in time out. I really didn't think I would have the type of child who would do that for me.
We love to take advantage of my sister -in- laws backyard. We like to swing and jump together.
I have a climber. No doubt. Anyone have a small plastic climber and slide combo? If so I want it!!!
I know you all want to see pictures of the house. This is your small tease. You will note that the picture was taken around Halloween because of the ghost/pumpkin cookie jar on the table.
I promise to have more pictures soon.
Updates on the man.

*knows the shape for circle
*will follow simple commands like go get (fill in the blank)
* loves baths and hate to lay down in them to get the bubbles out of his hair.

I think I got the best birthday gift this year....
My new House!! Too bad I didn't take a picture of the front of it for you to see.I got everything else for your to see! Here goes. In very random order.
The backyard from my backdoor. We love the yard, Jason has so many plans for it already.
The back of the house.
Spare room we are going to have as a family room.
The master bath.
The master has a lovely fireplace!!
The hallway to the 2 other rooms.
Joseph's room!!
The kitchen flows into the living room. Ignore the inspector and my brother in law.
I love love love my kitchen sink. I should since I know I will spend lots of time there.
Laundry. The door to the left goes to the Master. The door to the right leads to the spare or the new family room.
We are closing on our house this Friday and the movers arrive Friday!! I have big plans on having my entire house put together by Sunday, I will be happy if it's done later though. I could not be more excited about this house. I will be living 3 doors down from Jason's sister Jamie. I will post more pictures of the house once we are all unpacked and I feel sane again. So that means it may never happen!
If you didn't catch it, today is my birthday. Big 25. wow.
