When Rae and Lacy came over,

I was making some blond brownies for my friends birthday. (which btw were amazing!) I decided to let my niece Lacy help me make them. She didn't seem to be enjoying herself that much so I let her leave after a few short minutes. I had to leave the room to help Rae with something and when we returned to the kitchen this is what we saw!
She obviously was having fun and had to mix some more when I left the room, so she crawled on up and went to town.
Later we walked to Target, my favorite store ever. As we were walking I found the crayola section. I told Rachel I cannot wait until my children are older so I can play with all the fun crayola things out there. Then I saw window markers and decided I couldn't wait any longer.

They are so much fun! I leave messages to Jason on the bathroom mirrors, and make my own garden for my window. If you are bored and want to have a little childish fun go buy them!

See ya later alligator!

Posted by Picasa
On a sad note, my sweet niece Teryn is moving to Montana tomorrow. I know I don't live in GA at the moment but I always knew I would see her when I went to visit. I was going to see her really soon because Jason and I are going to GA after the baby is born so we can have him blessed with all of our family there. Now I will not get to see her. :( I hope she loves her new home and she makes lots of friends and knows that she has family missing her and loving her always.

Down Syndrome Buddy Walk.

Jason and I at the buddy walk. We were on team M&M for Mary and Milly. Each family creates their own team name, also most people make shirts for everyone on the team. Jamie drew the cute little M&M's and I helped her iron them onto the shirts on Friday night.
Cute little Amelia all ready for the walk.
Mary having fun after the walk was over. They had lots of music and food so she was dancing.

Proud mama!!! Here is to you Jamie for getting everyone to the Buddy walk. I had a blast!!

shop till you drop

Since Alison came to Ga also we have been able to spend some much needed time together. On Saturday Alison, Teryn and I went to old town conyers to go shopping for a while. You know we had to take some pictures to capture the moments we shared. Of course because Alison and me went shopping I bought more stuff I probably don't even need. For some reason whenever I shop with her I buy stuff I normally would have put down before walking out of the store. I cannot complain I love my new shirt and earrings!!

The waiting game.

Here are a few pictures of most of us waiting for the little bundle of joy! There were very few times we were allowed to pull that video camera out. So the picture of Brad is very unique and rare! It was a long wait untill we could see her little man. But you all know it was worth it!!

Braden Quinn Milkwick

Now introducing my sweet nephew, and yes he finally has a name!
Braden Quinn Milkwick. For those of you who do not know Jessica had him by
c-section. Brad said that the first thing the doctor said was "what a BIG boy!" and boy was he right. Braden was 8lbs 11oz and 21.25 inches long. I will save the entire birth story for Jessica to share with you all, when she gets her chance to blog again. I know she would want to be able to tell all of you the story. Enjoy the pictures!!

Amelia and Me
On Saturday we went to our nephew Wills firsts soccer game. There is nothing cuter than a bunch of four year olds trying to kick a soccer ball around.
Mary Bear!!

Jason and Susan.
On Sunday Jason's best friend, Susan came over with her newest family member. We had so much fun catching up. Her little girl, Taylor is only 3 wks older than Amelia and is soo much bigger. We put the girls next to each other so you could see how tiny Amelia is. She is only 7 lbs.

We got to meet Amelia for the first time. Jason really took to her. How couldn't you? She is so cute!!

Down Syndrome Association Buddy Walk 2007

Mary Elizabeth
Amelia Anne

On Saturday, October 13, Jason's sister Jamie and her family will be walking in the Atlanta Buddy Walk to show support for her children Mary, Amelia, and the more than 350,000 individuals with Down syndrome in the United States. Every step they take, every dollar they raise, will help ensure that Mary, Amelia and others like them will be able to do just that. Last year alone, over $6.5 million dollars was raised nationwide for local and national education, research and advocacy programs. I am asking you to Buddy Walk with us for Mary and Amelia and all those with Down syndrome in our community and help the National Down Syndrome Society create change nationwide. Please join us in helping Mary and Amelia have the opportunity to reach their dreams. If you are unable to attend the walk and would like to show your support you can participate as a virtual walker or make a donation to our team.

You may follow this link to help out our two precious nieces. Thank you.

Amelia Anne

Well I am a aunt again!! Jason's sister Jamie had her second little angel. Her name is Amelia Anne Tryon. She was born August 10, 2007. She weighed 6lbs and 4oz. Jason and I have not been able to meet her yet but we cannot wait. I will definitely be able to meet her in September when I go to GA. I hope that Jason will be able to drive me down so he can meet little Amelia too. We really are missing family when moments like this happen and we are not there to share it with them. We are so happy for the whole Tryon family. They have a lot to be grateful for. Speaking about little ones. Two of my sisters have one on the way so you will soon see my new nephew and niece.
