time out

 i inherited this wooden chair that my mother in law made for some of her other grandchildren who are far too big for this seat now. i loved the chair ,but i wanted to add more to it. soooo i pulled out my modge podge and paper and got to work.

i wasn't sure how i was going to finish the top half. i knew i wanted it to be different from the rest of the chair and when i discovered that i had 2 of the same Dr. Seuss books i knew just what to do! i loved how this turned out and trust me. this chair gets loads of use during the day. and a as of late...a jail bird keeps trying to run away. i might need to add bars to it....
